Event briefs

The department of physics and chemistry, S.S.Jaiswal college Arjuni/mor had
organized an industrial tour of B.Sc sem V, Sem I [pcm] and sem III [pcm] students at
Ganesh agro rice mill located in tavasi, Arjuni /Mor. on date 08/02/2023. The purpose
of this industrial tour is to learn the solar power plant system and processes involved in
rice production.
Total 78 students and 07 staff member have gathered in college premises for tour. The
Ganesh agro rice mill is just 1km far away from college campus. Therefore, we
travelled above distance by walking. Students entered in industry after checking by
security guard. Then all students divided in two group. Firstly students visited to solar
power plant. The technician gave information about solar plates, building patterns,
storage battery, generator, capacity and maintains of solar power plant of 1.25MV.
Then students visited to rice production unit. The technician briefly explained
information about various procedure involved in rice production like bowler chamber,
steamer chamber, automation system, packaging unit, quality control unit etc.
Students asked theirs doubts/questions to technician and he gave satisfactory answers
to all. after completing the visit to all unit the manager of industry arranged he tea
programme for all participant.
