In a bid to stay abreast of evolving education standards, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shivprasad Sadanand Jaiswal College, Arjuni Morgaon Dist. Gondia, successfully organized an enlightening awareness program focusing on the Revised National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Manual that was updated in the month of July 2023.
Dr. K J Sibi, the dynamic IQAC Coordinator, graced the occasion as the keynote speaker, delivering a riveting discourse on the changes introduced in the revised NAAC Manual. His comprehensive insights shed light on the evolving landscape of higher education assessment and accreditation. He has highlighted the key changes like qualitative and quantitative metrics, system generated score for prequalification, Students Satisfaction Survey, etc. ad its reflection in the NEP 2020.
Dr. Ishwar Mohurley, the esteemed Principal and the chairperson of the event, underscored the importance of adapting to contemporary educational paradigms to ensure the institution’s continued growth. He stated that adoption of ICT based teaching and learning is the need of the hours.
The awareness program didn’t merely remain within the confines of the event’s venue. It inspired a collective determination among attendees to adopt the revised NAAC guidelines, enhancing the quality of education imparted and received.
The event was initiated by Mr. Laxmikant Kapgate, Assistant Coordinator, who delivered a captivating introductory speech. Mr. Kapgate’s articulation of the event’s significance set the tone for a day filled with engagement and insight. The awareness program served as a beacon, guiding educational stakeholders toward embracing change and contributing to the betterment of the entire education ecosystem.
Miss Swati Madavi, a compere extraordinaire, skilfully navigated the program, ensuring seamless transitions between session. Her poise and command over the proceedings kept participants engaged and attentive.
As the program drew to a close, it was Dr. Ashish Kawale, who took the stage to propose the vote of thanks. His gratitude extended to all participants from various colleges, speakers, and organizers underscored the collaborative spirit that underpinned the event’s success. Teachers, IQAC Coordinators, Non-Teaching staff from nearby colleges witnessed the program and took active participation in the discussion.
