The theme on National Science Day was “Global Science for Global Well being”. On this theme students has actively participated in said different competitions. More than 50 students were participated in the various competition and 98 students present on the occasion.
In this programme Chairman Prof. I.S. Mohurley, Principal, IQAC Coordinator Dr. K.J. Sibi, Chief guest Dr. S. R. Deshmukh, Head, Department of Microbiology, Dr. D. L. Chaudhari, Head, Department of Physics, Coordinator of the event Dr. L.N. Borkar, Head, Department of Botany were present.
Program was commenced by paying tribute to the great Indian Physicist Sir C.V. Raman.
Chief guest Dr. S. R. Deshmukh has given a brief talk on Azolla and it’s importance in agriculture.. Dr. D.L. Chaudhari has put light on the work of Sir C.V Raman, IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. K.J. Sibi has address the event by explaining the importance of National Science Day. Chairperson Prof I.S. Mohurley has guided the students on the importance of the theme of Science day and the concept of togetherness and team work.
The programe was formulated by Mr. Yatreek Bhagat, Department of Chemistry, Dr, A.S. Shyamkuwar, Department of Microbiology highlighted the science development till date by demonstrating video clips, and Mr. M.D. Dhuratkar, Department of mathematics expressed the vote of thanks.
