Objectives of the Program:

  • To introduce students to the various features and goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
  • To encourage discussions among students, educators, and administrators regarding the practical applications of the NEP.
  • To highlight the importance of skill education and experimental learning as part of the NEP’s framework.
  • To inform students about the Multiple Entry and Multiple Exit Options, Academic Bank of Credits, and the choice-based system that the NEP promotes.
  • To help students understand how the NEP can shape their future academic and career paths.

1)  VIDHARBHA JUNIOR COLLEGE, KESHORI (8TH  JANUARY 2025)

The School Connect Program 2.0 was launched by the Government of Maharashtra to engage with students and promote awareness regarding various aspects of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The program specifically targets students in the 9th to 12th grades enrolled in junior colleges across the state. The first awareness session under this initiative took place at Vidharbha Junior College, Keshori, in Arjuni Tahsil, where more than 187 students participated in the event on 8th January 2025.

The session was aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of the NEP 2020 and its transformative impact on the education system. The topics covered during the program were aligned with key components of the NEP, including skill education, experimental learning, multiple entry and exit options, academic bank of credits, degree program modes, and the choice-based system.

The session was enriched by the presence of distinguished educators and experts in the field. Mr. Laxmikant Kapgate, the NEP Coordinator and Master Trainer, played a pivotal role in elucidating the features of the NEP 2020. Dr. Ishwar Mohurley, Principal, provided students with a thorough breakdown of the policy’s core changes, addressing complex ideas in a simple and engaging manner. His presentation not only informed the students about the practical applications of NEP but also encouraged them to embrace these new opportunities.

During the session, Dr Sharad Meshram shared his expertise and took the time to interact with students, answering their queries and resolving doubts. This interactive approach helped ensure that students were not only informed but also able to engage with the content in a meaningful way. The Program was come to an end as Mr G P Nandeshwar , Principal proposed the vote of thanks.

 

2)         PANDHARIBAPU DESHMUKH JUNIOR COLLEGE MAHAGAON

The School Connect Program 2.0 was launched by the Government of Maharashtra to engage with students and promote awareness regarding various aspects of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The program specifically targets students in the 9th to 12th grades enrolled in junior colleges across the state. The first awareness session under this initiative took place at Pandharibapu Deshmukh Junior College Mahagaon, in Arjuni Tahsil, where more than 289 students participated in the event on 8th Jan 2025.

The session was aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of the NEP 2020 and its transformative impact on the education system. The topics covered during the program were aligned with key components of the NEP, including skill education, experimental learning, multiple entry and exit options, academic bank of credits, degree program modes, and the choice-based system.

3)     NEW MOON ENGLISH MEDIUM JUNIROR COLLEGE ARJUNI MORGAON
