A one day study tour to Government Fish Seed Production Centre Shivanibandh on dated 18 July 2023 for the Semester V students of B. Sc.. The main purpose of the study tour is to study and get the practical knowledge of the fish seed production and Various techniques used in the fish farming. Around 35 students of B. Sc. Semester V accompying with faculty members Dr. Gopal T. Paliwal and Dr. Manoj K. Bangadkar were present.
At about 08.00 am all the students and faculty members were gathered at college and started the journey to Shivanibandh by bus. The beloved principal of the college Prof. ishwar S. Mohurley was present to see off the student. He guided the student and gave best wishes for the success of the tour. At 09.00 am we reached to Government Fish Seed Production Centre Shivanibandh.
The technique used for the fish seed production i.e. Fish pond management, Induced breeding and Working of Chinese hatchery were explained by the Shri Kailash Marbate Sir, Assistant FDO of the government fish seed production centre. The working of the Chinese hatchery has demonstrated to students. The rearing pond management, management of weeds and packaging of the fish seed is also well explained by technician Shri Dhanuji Shende. After completion of live demonstration, all the students gather near office of fish seed production centre and all the queries of students were solved and explained by the faculty and workers of the fish seed production centre.
The study tour was very informative and all the students were enjoyed the tour. We thankful to the Principal of our college Prof. Ishwar S. Mohurley sir for granting the permission and to the officials of the Govt. Fish seed production centre, Shivanibandh for cooperation.
