He was awarded PhD. in 2015. he was recognised with a Distinguished Researcher Award in 2019  by the Indian Science Congress Association.  He was nominated as an  Expert for the assessment of the wildlife habitat of the Navegaon Nagzira Tiger Project, M.S.by Govt. of Maharashtra  & Dept of Forests by the Govt. of Maharashtra.
