He has been working as an Associate Professor & Head of the Department of  Botany, S. S. Jaiswal College Arjuni Morgaon District Gondia. He has been teaching the subject at the Undergraduate level for 13 years. He has published  28 research papers in Reputed National and International journals. He has attended more than 20 papers. His areas of interest are Cytogenetics, Mycology and Mellitopalynology. He edited two books. He is a life member of the Indian Science Congress Association and the Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy.
