Shivprasad Sadanand Jaiswal College, Arjuni Morgaon, District Gondia, organized a Farmers Meet, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra, and the Taluka Agriculture Office, Arjuni Morgaon. The event was organised on December 20, 2023, at noon in the college seminar hall. Mr. Rupeshkumar Meshram delivered a presentation on the importance of millets, emphasizing the theme of International Millet Year 2023 and its relevance to sustainable agriculture practices. Mr. Vilas Kohate addressed the audience on the initiatives and goals of Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Natural Farming Mission, shedding light on the mission’s contribution to promoting organic and sustainable farming practices. Some farmers took initiative and shared their success stories.
