Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, in collaboration with Shivprasad Sadanand Jaiswal College, Arjuni Morgaon, successfully organized a One-Day National Workshop on Research Methodology on February 4, 2025. Themed “Next-Gen Research: Transformative Approaches to Methodology,” the workshop aimed to equip researchers with cutting-edge tools and ethical practices in research.
The workshop was inaugurated through a video message by Dr. Rajendra Kakade, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The chairperson of the event, Shri Lunkaran Chitlange, President of Shri Durga Shikshan Sanstha, emphasized the need for modern and ethical research practices. The introductory remarks were delivered by Mr. Laxmikant Kapgate, Convenor of the workshop, who set the tone for the event. Dr. Ishwar Mohurley extended a warm welcome to all participants. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Sanjay Dhobale, Senior Scientist and Professor in the Department of Physics, who highlighted the importance of advanced research methodologies. Shri B. R. Jaiswal, Vice President of Shri Durga Shikshan Sanstha, also graced the occasion with his insights on the role of transformative research.
The workshop featured insightful technical sessions by renowned academicians: Prof. Vivek Joshi, Professor, Postgraduate Teaching Department of English, Gondwana University, spoke on Multidisciplinary Approaches in Research Methodology. Dr. Dhananjay Gahane, Principal, Nevajabai Hitkarini College, Bramhapuri, discussed Multidisciplinary Approaches in Research Methodology and Computer Applications. Dr. Devdatta Tare, Postgraduate Teaching Department of Commerce, Gondwana University, elaborated on Ethical and Sustainable Research Practices.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 340 attendees, including faculty members, PhD research scholars, and postgraduate students. Engaging Q&A sessions provided deeper insights into research methodologies and encouraged active participation.
The workshop concluded successfully, achieving its objectives of fostering innovation, bridging theory and practice, and promoting ethical research methodologies. Mr. Laxmikant Kapgate expressed gratitude to all participants, resource persons, and dignitaries for making the event a milestone in academia.
