Department of PHYSICS

Department of Physics of the College is established in 2008. The department offers six semesters undergraduate course in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) also offer one certificate course on course on basic electronic and product testing. The department is having a well-equipped laboratory, which fulfils the need of B.Sc. Physics. The key research areas of the department is nanocomposites and Thin Films. Department inspires students to participate in various activities like essay competition conducted by DAE, Vidharbha University Physics teacher association(VUPTA) Seminar Competition, Avishkar competition, Science exhibition, NSS and other activities run by college. Also encourages students for preparing the JAM examination. Department also regularly organized the guest lectures, Some social activities like Energy conservation and renewable energy awareness programme, e-waste collection programme. The department provide the skilled manpower in physics. Faculty members of the department actively working in different committees in college and also in research.
