The department of Botany of S.S. Jaiswal College Arjuni/mor organized Installation of Botanical Society 2023-24 and guest lecture on dated 22 September 2023. The chief guest of the program was Dr. Amit Jagiya, Head and Asst. prof., Department of Botany, M.B. Patel College Sakoli., IQAC Coordinator Dr. K.J. Sibi, Dr. L.N. Borkar Head Department of Botany, Mr. Kailash S. Lokhande Asst. Professor, Mr. Ankit Nakade Asst. Professor and President of the program was Principal Prof. Ishwar Mohurley S.S. Jaiswal College Arjuni/mor.
The introductory speech was given by Dr. L.N. Borkar, Head Department of Botany, S.S. Jaiswal College Arjuni/mor. It briefly explains the aim of the installation of Botanical Society. The chief guest of the program Dr. Amit Jagiya explains the importance of Botanical Society and its work. The committee of the Botanical Society was declared in same program.
The presidential speech was given by Principal Dr. I.S. Mohurley. He interacted and encouraged the students in participated in various activities for their overall development.
On this occasion the guest lecture was organized on “Pollen and Seed Dispersal Mechanism: The Escape Plan delivered by Dr. Amit Jagiya. He interacted with students and clear doubts.
The program was hosted by Miss. Khushabu Chheti B.Sc. SEM V student and vote of thanks was given by Mr. K.S. Lokhande. Total 92 students of B.Sc. SEM I, SEM III and SEM V and different faculties were also present.
