  • The department runs undergraduate program with Botany/Microbiology/Chemistry(BMC) and Botany/Zoology/Chemistry(CBZ)
  • The department is dedicated to giving knowledge of Botany to the students belonging to Naxalite, Tribal and Remote areas.
  • The department is engaged in Socio-research based activities in collaboration with other reputed agencies, Government bodies, local agencies, NGOs and Inter departmental as well as individual levels.
  • The department is running one skill based program in organic farming
  • Department of Botany organises “Excursion tour” every year.
  • Department of Botany organised “Skill Development Programme in Hydroponic System (Hands on training)”
  • In an Extension activity, Department of Botany prepared Miyawaki dense forest in college premises, cultivated 650 plats in 55×13 mtr. Out of which 22 are Native Wild Varieties with participation of college management, students, Teachers, NSS unit, Social Forestry Department. Arjuni/Mor.
  • Prepared college garden with participation of students.
  • Department has conducted “Green Audit” in College.
  • Department has installed “Talking Tree” app. Which was installed on 23rd November, 2021.
  • Formation of  Botanical society, Organises Guest lectures and “Excursion tour” every year.
