In an electrifying showcase of oratory finesse, the Culture Program Committee orchestrated a stellar Elocution Competition that brought together the academic brilliance of students from junior colleges in nearby areas, as well as those pursuing degrees in BA, B.Sc, and B.Com at our very own Shivprasad Sadanand Jaiswal College. The event, held under the expert guidance of Dr. Sharad Meshram, Convenor of the program, unfolded with flair and enthusiasm, leaving an indelible mark on participants and spectators alike. The competition witnessed a remarkable convergence of talent, with students representing various academic streams stepping up to the podium. A total of 15 speakers, including 4 from neighbouring junior colleges and 11 from our college degree, graced the stage to articulate their thoughts and ideas with finesse.
Mr. Laxmikant Kapgate, with his adept handling of the program, ensured a seamless and engaging flow of the event. His organizational prowess contributed significantly to the overall success of the competition, creating an atmosphere of intellectual fervor. Dr. Sharad Meshram expressed his elation at the success of the event, emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of effective communication and public speaking among students. The Elocution Competition not only highlighted the academic prowess of the participants but also served as a testament to the vibrant and diverse talent within the college community.
The judging panel, consisting of Dr. Gopal Palawal, Dr Swati Madavi and Mr. Rajesh Dongarwar, brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the competition. Their discerning evaluation added a layer of objectivity, as they carefully assessed each participant’s oratory skills, eloquence, and content. As the curtains fell on the Elocution Competition 2024, the organizers extended their congratulations to all participants, emphasizing that every speaker contributed to the success of the event. The winners, in particular, were applauded for their exceptional oratorical prowess.
